I hired Cutting Edge Design to remodel my kitchen in an old colonial home I had just purchased in June. The way the kitchen layout was originally, I thought we would only be able to have a small L shaped kitchen with a small/medium sized island. Mary blew all of my expectations out of the water and turned my kitchen into a kitchen you see in a magazine! Double pantry cabinets, a breakfast nook area, a large island and more cabinet and counter space then I ever could have thought possible. I’m very happy with the quality of the cabinets and I love the countertops we chose and had many options to choose from. Mary is so sweet and so easy to work with. That was the best part for me. She is amazing at what she does and genuinely cares about making the entire process as easy and stress free as possible. Thank you so much for making my kitchen dreams come true!!!

We are so happy with our kitchen remodel! Not knowing where to start, we called a few local designers that were recommended on a local Facebook page. We knew that Mary was the right fit for us right off the bat! Mary and her team lead us through the process of renovating our kitchen and bath, including a change in plans to put on an addition. We cannot say enough about Mary – very professional and excellent design skills. We reached out to Mary as we needed help coming up with ideas to transform part of our first floor living space, in a Cape style home, into a master suite. Mary came up with a beautiful design that used the space so wisely. She was very patient with us, willing to meet as many times as it took to get the drawings the way we wanted them. The drawings were just what our contractor needed to complete the job. Mary was always available to speak with the contractor if there were any questions. She was helpful and efficient in ordering the cabinetry and has excellent attention to detail. Mary was reliable, professional and fun to work with. We love our new space!

I could not be any happier with the outcome of my kitchen renovation which all started with the perfect design by Cutting Edge Design!!!!! I live in an antique colonial that was built in 1880; so many small rooms and lots of doorways which closes everything in. My kitchen was dated, the flow was not functional. Mary came in and listened to my thoughts, my challenges and resolved them all with her amazing design. She opened up the kitchen, recommended the perfect cabinetry and now it is BRIGHT, it FLOWS and is a joy to be in. Mary has tremendous contacts and contractors that she works with that are knowledgeable, thorough and on-time. Mary gave me the best contact for my island top; I wanted a walnut slab that was one piece and she had a woodworker who exceeded all expectations. Mary and her team were there every step of the way, providing guidance, keeping me organized on decision making and most importantly RESPONSIVE. I highly recommend Cutting Edge Design for any home / office renovation. I will definitely use her again and I have already referred her to several of my friends! You will not be disappointed with Cutting Edge Design.

Mary is incredible. We had no knowledge of Mary and found her on Houzz. I was looking for a creative professional who would do more than cabinets. We wanted a kitchen remodel that took into account how best to use the space functionally. I wanted to be sure she had a multitude of lines to select from and she has everything from basic to custom but all quality products. My husband is the cook in the family and he always left the kitchen a mess. Mary promised me that if everything has a place it will be easier to eliminate clutter. She delivered on her promise. Mary also manages the process from beginning to end while allowing us to work with whoever we want while offering us names of quality folks she regularly works with. My husband and I just enjoyed a peaceful lunch at our new counter, admired all the work and agreed there is not a single thing we would do differently. Thank you so much Mary!

Mary was extremely helpful with every step of our bathroom/kitchen remodel. We had a general sense of what we wanted, but she took our ideas and made it even better than we imagined! She designed a beautiful, light, open, functional kitchen for us. Every inch of our kitchen and bathroom is well used now. She looked at our family, how we used the kitchen, where we spent our time, etc., and she had lots of ideas about how to make our space functional for us specifically. And whenever we had a suggestion or revision, she was very happy to work with us.

When it came time for the actual construction, she was always a call or text away, which was especially helpful when a few subcontractors needed to pull out and she worked her Rolodex to keep the project moving smoothly. And her connections in the industry are phenomenal, making us feel very secure that a fantastic team was handling everything for us. I 100% would recommend Cutting Edge and would definitely work with Mary again!

My husband and I had 2 projects we were going to tackle. Our Master Bath was the first and our kitchen was next. Since our kitchen was going to be a huge remodel we decided to look for a designer, facilitator. I met with Mary and was pleasantly surprised by how open she was to my vision of how I wanted our kitchen to function. She actually listened. In the meantime, we were in the throes of a gut and remodel of our bathroom. I can honestly say that we couldn’t have gotten thru this process without her. She went above and beyond in helping us with this project! We are only in the beginning stage of our kitchen remodel, but I am so happy that I have Mary to guide us thru this major renovation. She is a gem and I would have no reservations in recommending her to anyone who is looking for a designer with vision and willing to go that extra step for the client!

I am so happy with the kitchen renovation I just completed with Mary’s help! My home is over 100 years old so there were a few challenges during cabinet installation. Mary came right over and helped resolve them to my satisfaction. Her suggestions during the design process were excellent and very helpful. When we were unsure about a design concept she suggested, her reasoning helped us understand why she thought it made sense. Once installed, the concept was absolutely the right thing to do. Even the smallest suggestions made such a big difference. Throughout the process she was completely invested in our project like it was her own, and was as excited as we were with how it all came together. She took much of the worry and stress out of the process of planning and executing such a large project. She helped in so many small ways that I know had a big impact on both the finished project and the smoothness of the process. I feel like I made new friends with both Mary and her staff. I can’t thank them enough for all of their professionalism and dedication to assisting me with my dream kitchen!!!
